How to Play
Water Sort
Water Sort is a relaxing color-sorting puzzle. Tubes start out with a jumbled mix of colored liquid. Pour liquid between them until every tube that holds any liquid holds just one color.
Rules

- Tap a tube to select it, then tap another tube to pour its top color into it.
- You can only pour into a tube if it's empty or its top color matches the color you're pouring.
- A tube can only hold a limited number of units of liquid, so you can't pour more in once it's full.
- The puzzle is solved once every tube is either empty or filled with a single color from top to bottom.
Tips & Strategy
- Keep at least one tube empty for as long as possible early on. It gives you somewhere to temporarily park a color that's blocking progress.
- Look for a tube whose top color matches another tube's top color. Pouring those together is always safe progress.
- Plan a couple of pours ahead: sometimes pouring a small amount out of the way now sets up a bigger, cleaner pour later.
- Work on finishing one color at a time instead of moving liquid between many tubes at once. It's easier to keep track of.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Can I pour a color onto a different color?
- No, you can only pour into an empty tube or one whose top color already matches the color you're pouring.
- Is there always a solution?
- Yes. Every layout is tested to make sure that some sequence of valid pours sorts it completely, though the number of tubes and colors varies from day to day with the difficulty.
- Does it matter how much liquid I pour at once?
- No. Pouring always moves as much of the matching top color as fits in the destination tube, so the only thing you choose is which two tubes to use.
