How to Play
Traffic Escape
Traffic Escape is a Rush Hour-style sliding puzzle. Cars and buses are packed into a parking lot. Slide them out of the way to open a path, then drive your red car off the board through the exit.
Rules

- Every vehicle can only slide back and forth along the single row or column it's already lined up on, never turn or leave that line.
- A vehicle can slide as far as the nearest edge or the next vehicle blocking its path.
- Drag a vehicle along its row or column; it stops automatically when it hits the edge or another vehicle.
- The puzzle is solved once your red car drives all the way off the board through the exit.
Tips & Strategy
- Work backward from the exit: figure out which vehicles are directly blocking your red car's row, then which vehicles are blocking those.
- Start with the vehicles standing in your red car's row, since they block it directly. A vehicle outside that row can only help by moving out of another vehicle's way.
- Sometimes a vehicle has to move out of the way for now and come back later. Don't assume every move has to be final.
- Use Hint if you're stuck; it reveals the very next move needed toward a solution, not the whole answer at once.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Can vehicles turn corners?
- No, every vehicle only ever moves along the single row (if horizontal) or column (if vertical) it started on.
- Is Traffic Escape the same as the classic Rush Hour game?
- Traffic Escape follows the same core sliding rules as the classic puzzle Rush Hour, just with its own traffic jam laid out and checked fresh every day.
- Is there always a way to free the red car?
- Yes. Every layout is tested to make sure that a specific order of slides frees a path to the exit, so you'll never hit a jam with no way out.
